Genia Stevens (Owner, Belwah Media and Founder & Executive Director, Rock County Jumpstart)
Genia Stevens is owner of Belwah Media, and founder and executive director of Rock County Jumpstart – a business incubator and accelerator for Black business owners in Rock County. She’s serving on the City of Beloit’s Equal Opportunities Commission, she’s a Rock County Board Supervisor, and she’s the chair of the Beloit NAACP’s Economic Development Committee. Genia was named one of the most influential Black leaders in Wisconsin, being recognized as a leader who’s unapologetically dedicated to fighting for economic equality for the Black community.
For the past 2 years, she’s served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Madison College, coaching and mentoring students, faculty, staff and Dane County residents on business and entrepreneurship.
Genia received her Bachelor’s degree from Beloit College and her MBA from Cardinal Stritch University.
