This year’s guest speaker is domestic violence survivor and Wisconsin resident, Teri Jendusa Nicolai. Nicolai’s story has been featured on ABC’s 20/20, Oprah and the Doctor Oz Show. In 2004, her ex-husband attacked her with a baseball bat, threw her in a garbage can filled with snow and left her in a freezing storage locker to die. She miraculously survived and has since been advocating for victims nationwide.
Nicolai will be available for interviews before the walk begins, with plenty of video and photo opportunities available during the walk. To coordinate interviews ahead of the walk, please contact Jennifer Draz at (608) 352-2014 or email email@example.com.
