Resources in Beloit to Help Cast Your Ballot

Categories: Helpful Resources

There are resources available throughout the area to help those who’d like to vote get to the polls, including Beloit. Election day is November 3, 2020, with early voting currently underway.

Voters in Beloit can take advantage of free bus rides to help get to their polling location. Starting October 26, and running through election day, November 3, Beloit Transit will offer free rides to all residents for most routes. The Beloit-Janesville Express is excluded. Click here for information on Beloit Transit’s routes. Fares for riding the bus resume November 4.

In addition, Beloit residents are also able to arrange rides to and from their polling locations (valid on election day only) through The League of Women Voters and NAACP-Beloit Branch. Residents wishing to arrange these rides can call either organization:

  • The League of Women Voters: (608) 322-4816
  • NAACP-Beloit Branch: (608) 365-1881

Beloit residents with disabilities can also request a curbside ballot at City Hall by calling (608) 364-6684. State law requires all municipalities to offer curbside voting to disabled residents. If you do not live in Beloit, you can call your local clerk for more information.
