Craving Concepts

I'm Chef Joshua Ciafullo, the owner of Craving Concepts. If there's one thing I want people to know about me, it's that I truly believe food is love. To me, cooking has never just been about feeding people—it's about bringing family, friends, and even strangers together around one table to create memories.

I grew up in a family of 13 kids, so food was always at the center of everything we did. When I was 13 years old, I decided I wanted to cook Thanksgiving dinner myself. I made the turkey, candied yams, collard greens—everything. That day changed my life. I found something I loved, and I've been chasing that passion ever since.

I'm mostly self-taught, and I've spent years learning, experimenting, and pushing myself to become a better chef every single day. I believe you can teach someone how to cook, but you can't teach passion. You either have it or you don't. That passion is what drives me to keep creating new dishes, trying new ideas, and never settling for average.

Through Craving Concepts, I've had the privilege of catering weddings, corporate events, family gatherings, and private dinners. I also created Ciafullo's Table because I wanted to bring people back to what dining is supposed to be—sharing a great meal, having real conversations, and making connections with the people sitting around you.

At the end of the day, I don't just want people to remember what they ate. I want them to remember how they felt. If someone leaves one of my events feeling like family, then I've done my job.

This isn't just what I do—it's who I am. I'll keep cooking, creating, and serving people with everything I've got.
