Lynn Gardinier

Lynn Gardinier is a Principal and CPA with Baker Tilly, where she serves as the Janesville Office Market Leader and one of the People Leaders for Wisconsin. Since joining Baker Tilly in 1991 following her graduation from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Lynn has built a career defined by integrity, focus on people, and a deep commitment to her community.

Over more than three decades, Lynn has developed trusted client relationships while mentoring and developing the next generation of professionals. She understands the value of mentorship firsthand, having benefited from a strong mentor through most of her career who was instrumental in helping her—and other women—break the glass ceiling. As Market Leader, she is responsible for driving growth and strengthening community partnerships across Rock County and the surrounding areas. As a People Leader, she is passionate about fostering a culture where individuals are challenged, encouraged to get involved, and empowered to lead with confidence and integrity.

Lynn’s commitment to service extends well beyond her professional responsibilities. She currently serves on the boards of Forward Foundation and Cedar Crest and is a member of the UW–Whitewater College of Business and Economics Advisory Board. She is Treasurer of the Walworth County Fair Foundation and serves on the finance committee for St. Teresa of Calcutta Pastorate, representing St. Mary’s Church in Milton. Her past board service includes United Way Blackhawk Region, the American Red Cross, Forward Janesville, and the Janesville Performing Arts Center.

Lynn resides in Milton with her husband of 38 years, Smokey. They are proud parents to Katie and Tyler and his wife Megan. She enjoys traveling and especially spending time spoiling her four grandsons.  Family, faith, and service remain central to Lynn’s life and leadership.
