Meet the Team Behind Rollin' on the River

From the high school food's lab to the food trailer, we’re keeping the rolls coming!

Food has always been in Patty’s blood. Growing up in the restaurant industry with a mom who loved to bake and a dad who could cook, she honed her skills through self-taught passion and nearly two decades in the classroom. For 18 years as a Home Economics teacher at Bradford High, she taught hundreds of students the science of yeast, the art of the perfect frost, and the hustle of running a student restaurant.

Today, Patty balances leading Rock University High School as principal with running Rollin' on the River alongside her husband, Alfonso. A veteran of restaurant cook lines, Alfonso is in his element working the grill and pulling fresh, hot trays from the oven—keeping us packed, prepped, and ready for the Farmer’s Market every weekend!
