The YWCA Before and After School Program provides child care for elementary school-age children (ages 4-12) during the school year. The program runs from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and resumes at the close of school until 6:00 p.m.
The Before and After School Program currently operates at many schools in Janesville and Milton.
Flexible Program
Parents sign their child up for the hours that you need care. Each week, parents submit a schedule listing the days and hours your child will attend the program for the following week. Children must attend a minimum amount of five hours per week, per session however there is a $21.25 minimum. We will also work around your child’s extracurricular activities.
Affordable Cost
There is an enrollment fee per child of $95 for the first child, and $30 for each additional child. The weekly fee is based on the number of hours per session. Child care funding is accepting through the W-2 Program and the YWCA offers financial assistance to eligible families.
Call Enrollment Assistant, Teri Luepnitz at 608-752-5445 ext. 230, or email ccp.clerical@ywcarockco.com to see if space is available.
YWCA Rock County provides child care on non-school days on a first-call, first-served basis.
These days include parent-teacher conferences, winter and spring breaks, etc. This state-licensed program is available from 6:30am-6:00pm at the YWCA Community Service Center, 1735 S. Washington St, Janesville.
