June’s Courageous Conversation will take place IN-Person for the first time since COVID. This progressive conversation around Rock County’s history was started in February, continued in March, and will have the chance to transcend from history to present as we discuss Transformative Justice. Transformative justice (TJ) is a framework for responding to violence and harm without relying on state punishment, such as police or prisons. We gather to discuss possible steps our community can take in transforming to a more equitable, anti-racist environment.
