Cinco de Mayo

May 5 is Cinco de Mayo. Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 and is a day to recognize Mexican history, culture, and resilience. At YWCA Rock County, we celebrate the rich cultures and contributions that strengthen our community and reaffirm our commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging for all.
