Indigenous People's Day

Today, we honor and recognize Indigenous Peoples—the original stewards of this land—and celebrate their enduring cultures, histories, and contributions. Indigenous Peoples’ Day is also a time to reflect on the impacts of colonization and to commit ourselves to truth, respect, and justice. At YWCA Rock County, we believe that acknowledging history and uplifting Indigenous voices is essential to advancing equity and building inclusive, informed communities. We stand in respect and solidarity with Indigenous communities today and every day.
