April’s Courageous Conversation: Celebrating and Supporting the AANHPI Community focuses on fostering understanding, dialogue, and advocacy for the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. Our conversation will recognize the rich cultural contributions, history, and diversity within these groups, while also addressing challenges such as systemic racism, discrimination, and underrepresentation. Our goal is to create a space for open and honest discussions, celebrating the achievements of AANHPI individuals and providing support to uplift their voices and experiences.
Parking Lot: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Unmoderated Interaction After the Discussion – if needed)
Just to remind us all - the agreements for Courageous Conversations are:
1) stay engaged,
2) experience discomfort,
3) speak your truth, and
4) expect and accept non-closure
