Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month. This month, we honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of American Indian and Indigenous Peoples—past, present, and future. It is a time to recognize the resilience, leadership, and enduring traditions of Native communities and to reflect on the importance of truth, respect, and understanding. At YWCA Rock County, we are committed to advancing equity and creating inclusive spaces where all people are seen, valued, and respected. We believe that honoring Indigenous voices and experiences is essential to building stronger, more just communities.
