Día de Muertos

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a joyous Mexican holiday (Nov 1-2) honoring deceased loved ones, rooted in indigenous Aztec beliefs that spirits return to visit. Families create ofrendas (altars) with photos, marigolds, food, and sugar skulls to welcome souls. It is a celebration of life, not mourning.
